Client needed a CD design that would reflect their local roots as well as a love of Celtic music. The original logo, seen below, appeared on early concert fliers and they liked it, but were open to having an update. I did not alter their logo radically, but did make it more organic in form and designed it more like a Celtic knot. The band were frequenters of a local pub that had a great stained-glass window at the entrance and so I worked that into the CD cover design. I created the logo in Illustrator, then created the window frame, glass, and leading in Photoshop. Some folks still look for this actual window in the local area.
