During a lull in our church service on 9/11/11, I doodled a quick sketch of the following design. I was thinking specifically of my friend, Ricky Blood, who lost his life that September day, ten years ago, in the World Trade Center. The Irish/Celtic band, Poisoned Dwarf, approached me with the desire to have a new logo created for their (then) upcoming CD release. This updated version was created to be painted onto a bodhrán. Other versions can be seen on their CD artwork.
Oma Lugu, Eesti Lugu
Logo for an non-profit in Estonia. The organization is loosely based on the “Story Corps” project in the US, encouraging people to tell their stories of life, love, etc., in an audio recording for others to hear. The cornflower is the national flower of Estonia, and Oma Lugu Eesti Lugu means “my story, Estonia’s story”.
